Attempting to describe a51.org.uk is difficult as I’m actually still working out for myself what this site is going to turn into. It seems appropriate to at least start an “About…” page though.
I’ve got a few plans in mind but I’m trying very hard not to promise anything until it physically appears on the site.
Why the name a51.org.uk?
I’ve had this domain since 2001 and it was registered for a very specific purpose. About 0.001% of people in the UK may still remember what it’s original purpose was. I’m not going to say here yet as that’s a story for a whole new article. Some bits and pieces related to the “original plan” may appear on the site from time to time.
What sort of site is a51.org.uk?
Currently the only description I will commit to is: it’s a blog. It’ll probably contain a fair amount of material about gaming, possibly some technical bits and pieces and maybe some coding articles. But it could go in any direction. It’ll either evolve or die.
Who is the guy writing this stuff?
I will confirm that there is only one guy creating this site at the moment. Apart from that there isn’t anything else you need to know. I could tell you my name but would you really care?
