Just added a twitter widget to the side bar on ‘yon’ side there to be filled with general irrelevance. Heed my words, no good will ever come of this! I really need to ‘pimp’ my theme though as the site is still looking incredibly plain more than a year later.
In other news I won’t be standing outside HMV at midnight tonight queuing for a copy of Halo: Reach but I may celebrate the occasion by starting Halo 3!
Been playing Need for Speed World over the past couple of days as the massively multiplayer addition to the NFS franchise has just gone free to play. Previously you could only play up to level 10 unless you bought a “starter pack”.
So far I’ve got to level 5 and it looks good and plays well, except there isn’t actually that much to do. New races and events get drip fed to you one at a time as you level up so you have to do a fair amount of grinding over the same events to gain rep (XP). I’m hoping it’ll open up a bit more when I get to level 10.
