It’s Uncharted 2 week!
Anyone else looking forward to Uncharted 2 coming out this week on the PlayStation 3?
In anticipation I’ve dug out the original Uncharted and have been attempting to go through it again on Hard which is a damn sight less forgiving than Normal, unsurprisingly!
Also been keeping an eye on the Metacritic score and it’s currently showing a metascore of 97, signifying Universal Acclaim.
Well, I’m supposed to be broke but I’ll just have to find some spare cash from somewhere for Friday!u

October 13, 2009 | 12:42 PMIm hoping they sort the multiplayer as its a bit of a sham! I sat in the lobby for 25 mins waiting for a game when there were supposed to be 17.500 people playing online! Quite enjoyed it once I got playing but 25 mins for a 5 – 10 minute game is pretty crap!

October 13, 2009 | 5:53 PMI’ve played a few matches online and it managed to find a match in a few seconds (which was considerably longer than I stayed alive for in the actual match!). But I suppose it is technically a beta at the moment so they are probably still balancing server loads and such like ready for Friday.
I’m hoping that the co-op mode has a decent amount of missions in it. I liked co-op on Resistance 2 but the problem is you start looping through the same missions again and again before you even get anywhere near maxing out any of the classes.

October 15, 2009 | 8:26 PMI’m still deciding whether I’m going to buy it tommorrow. I asked the guy in the local GAME this lunchtime and although they don’t confirm the actual price until the day of release he expected them to be selling it for around £44.99, which is definately more than I would be prepared to pay.
If I can find it somewhere for around £35 I might be tempted, otherwise I may just leave it for a month or two and see if the price drops a little.
I may just buy Halo 3 for the 360 at £15 and let that keep me busy for a while instead.
Regarding co-op. If you ever fancy playing Resistance 2 co-op, give me a shout! Or any good game for that matter (that I also have) although I can’t think of any other examples at the moment.

October 16, 2009 | 12:51 PMMy amazon order came through last night and said its taken £35 from my account so I wouldn’t pay £45! It be available 2nd hand for sub £35 in a few weeks anyway! Especially when Modern Warfare 2 comes out!
